The majority of the tools we manufacture are technically demanding, hardened and superstrong high-quality tools with minimal tolerances and short, optimised cycle times to ensure optimum moulding economy – and top-grade components.
On average, Hjernø produces approximately one new injection moulding tool a day, and we generally have 30-45 new tools in production at any one time. This means that, although the tools are not usually identical, we have many tool parts that are very similar due to our large output which gives us production advantages and reduces costs. It also means that we are able to manufacture both more reliably and, above all, more cheaply.
