Measuring plastic components is part of the job...
As the components from the moulds we produce are technically demanding with very narrow tolerances, shrinkage and cast represent a big challenge throughout the process.
Measuring pastic components is therefore also something we offer based on the test-moulded components. This is often vital to the final approval of the mould.
The measurement of components is carried out based on the functional measurements that are critical to the customer, and we measure a number of agreed plastic components, often 25 components from each cavity.
Our measurements are entered in a comprehensible table where any deviations from nominal values are highlighted in red, if applicable.
If the customer has special systems that these measurements are to be entered into, we are also happy to take care of this. However, this sometimes requires that we are given a thorough review of the system in question by the customer.
