Micro components are not just very small components. They are often also incredibly complicated parts demanding fine tolerances right down to 1/1000 mm. Micro components have to meet stringent standards to ensure that there is no cast, no flash, no entrapped air, no sink marks, etc. and sometimes even have to be cast in some exotic and completely impossible material involving 50% glass.
